Well so far I am on day 5 and haven't wanted to smoke in 2 days. I had half a cigarette the first day, and about 3 hits off of one the second. None on the third or fourth and still haven't had a puff on the 5th. And the good thing is I don't really want one, I mean sure at work I miss going on a smoke break, but that's ok I can live better without. I don't know how the next few days will go but so far so good. I started out with 5 lozenges the first day, then 5 the second, then 4 the third and the last 2 days I had one about 10 am and one about 7 or 8 at night. Also they last about an hour so that is super nice.

I tried them all, gum, lozenges, patches. I always ended up smoking again at some point. All they did for me was keep me addicted to the nicotine I craved so much. Luckily, one day I just decided to quit cold turkey and now over four years have passed and I have never had a cig since or a nicotine replacement product either. The addiction to nicotine is totally gone and I have no cravings or desire to ever smoke again. After the first year you don't even think about it any longer.

I hope everyone who is looking for a way to quit smoking finds his or her own way and makes it work. Not smoking is the smart way to live. Good luck to everyone from a former two pack a day smoker.

the first lozenge you take will be gross and you will think that it could never last. just wait until your ready to quit, try not to put your self into the most difficult situations for cessation (whiskey and women) and then it will work. simply keep a container everywhere you get cravings - your car, near the back door of your house, your office desk before you decide to light up - WHERE EVER. get a proper little pill box for when you are going out for the night or with family and don't want to take the big cylinder container. when you get a craving JUST PUT ONE IN YOUR MOUTH and get on with your life.
